BRAISED SPICY CHICKEN

This is what we called with effect after K-Drama and K-Variety Shows. I've been craving Korean Food so much, and that's why i decided to make it for my self. Something that has a spicy, savory and sweet taste of course will certainly be an option for today's menu. Yappp, BRAISED SPICY CHICKEN for my lunch, it tastes so so gewd and make me really proud of my self. Hahaha. 😆😆😆 Come on check the recipe below :

Ingredients:
Chicken (i'm using half breast chicken)
1 Potato, peeled and cut into thick bite sized chunks
1 Carrot, peeled, cut into thick bite sized chunks
1 Onion, cut into nice big chunks
3 Gloves Garlic, minced
1 Green Onion
2 Red Chili
1 tsp Salt
1 tbsp Gochujang
1 tbsp Soy Sauce
1 tbsp Rice Wine
1 tsp Gochugaru
1/2 tsp Black Pepper
1 tbsp Sesame Oil
1 tbsp Sesame Seed (plus for garnish)
1 tbsp Sugar

Instructions:
1. Cut chicken into small pieces.
2. Add salt and chicken into boiling water, boil about 5-10
minutes.
3. Drain chicken into a strainer and rinse pot quickly.
Rinse chicken under cold water and put it back to pot.
4. Prepare the seasoning mixture, combine gochujang, soy
sauce, gochugaru, rice wine, sesame oil, sesame seed, sugar and black pepper in
a mixing bowl. Mix well.

5. Add potato, carrot, onion and minced garlic into pot.
6. Add combined sauce into pot, mix well until chicken and
vegetables are evenly coated with sauce.

7. Cover, bring it to boil over medium high heat. Stirring
frequently. When it starts boil, reduce
heat into medium, stirring frequently for first 10 minutes of simmering to
prevent burn bottom of pot.
8. Stir in red chili and green onion, remove from the heat
and ENJOYYY ~~
